The Victron SmartShunt serves as an all-in-one battery monitor, sans the traditional display. Instead, your smartphone takes on the role of the display. Through Bluetooth connectivity, the SmartShunt pairs with the VictronConnect App on your phone or tablet. This allows you to conveniently access various battery parameters, including state of charge, estimated remaining time, historical data, and more.
Additionally, the SmartShunt can also be linked to a GX device. To establish this connection, use a VE.Direct cable. The SmartShunt offers an excellent alternative to the BMV battery monitor, especially in setups where streamlined wiring and reduced clutter are desired.
Notably, there exists a marine version of the SmartShunt, which boasts an IP65 rating for enhanced water and dust resistance.
